Warm Two Colour Palette

You are in the Warm Colouring category. What this means is that you can have porcelain skin tone with or without freckles or a warmer glow. You have red hair which is anything from strawberry blonde, through to auburn and green, brown or blue eyes. You likely have either warm or brown eyebrows and eyelashes too.

Your category is warm, and your skin is yellow-based.

You are best suited to colours that have a warm base in clothing. If you choose to wear a cool shade, pair it with a warm-toned garment in your wardrobe. Preferably wear warm-toned clothing that is closer to your face. Choose either a mixture of dark or medium shades, or light and medium, but make sure you add warmth. Avoid wearing all cool pastels or dark, cool shades.

During the summer months wear light to medium warm coloured accessories to balance out pastel summer clothes. Preferably, if possible, choose garments in the warmer shades of your colour palette or be bold and select some bright tones.

How To Use This Guide

Below you will find details of your personal colour palette. There are eighteen different groups of shades for different people.

The first group of canvas colours should make up the majority of your wardrobe, while the paint colours below them are for you to add to it. Think of the canvas colours as the majority of your wardrobe, and the paint colours as the fun on top.

Finally, at the bottom of this page, you will find some additional paint colours for you to use that are specifically chosen for your grade and category.

Your Warm Two Colours

You are in the second of the warm colour tones. You have light to medium skin. You usually have green or pale brown eyes. Yellow-based,  pale warm or vibrant shades, will work best on you. Avoid pastel, cool colours. When wearing darker colours like charcoal or grey, team it with a warmer tone close to your face otherwise the cool colours will wash you out and make your skin look grey. You can wear dark colours together in predominantly warm tones. Be brave and choose vibrant colours like lime zest, Marrakesh, deep orange and turquoise. Bright aqua colours and salmon pinks in a medium tone work very well for you.

  • Your skin tone is warm—all the colours from your palette aline with your colouring.
  • Do your colours need to look official for work? If so try light navy, deep teal, olive garden, khaki or bronze tones and team them with salmon mist and cream.
  • The clothing that sits closest to your face should be warm, bright or medium in tone.
  • Accentuate outfits with bright or darker accessories.
  • Cherry, pine forest, deep salmon, turquoise, deep orange and light apricot would look fantastic on you.
  • In winter, try to find bright warm colours to brighten up your outfits.
  • When choosing white select soft white over cool white.
