She felt the whole experience was very cut and paste, and that the stylist lacked the experience to offer anything truly personal. So, I did a quick search and came across Michelle—and I’m so glad I did. She is, without a doubt, the most experienced stylist in Sussex (over 25 years, I believe, and it really shows). You can instantly tell that she guides her clients with genuine instinct and years of expertise, rather than just following a formula. I went for the full works: a colour analysis (which was completely unique to me—not just the usual ‘autumn’, ‘winter’, ‘summer’ categories), a bespoke body type guide (Michelle explained I was somewhere between an hourglass and a pear, and gave me specific advice tailored to that), and an in-person wardrobe edit. She was so gentle and encouraging, helping me let go of pieces that no longer worked and showing me how to create new outfits from what I already had. But the best part had to be the personal shopping session at the end. Michelle put together a bespoke ebook just for me, with links to all the items she recommended and nearly 40 outfit ideas! I can’t tell you how invaluable that’s been—no more staring blankly at my wardrobe every morning. Honestly, it’s been the best investment I’ve ever made in myself, both mentally and financially.
