So you are looking for the best minimalist clothing brands? You have come to the right place. Not only are the companies listed below minimalist but they also have decent ethical and environmental credentials too. If you are just getting started, learn how to build a capsule wardrobe from scratch.
Bahhgoose
Run by a Canadian, Bahhgoose offers simple, classic designs in eco-friendly and sustainable linen and cotton. All of the garments are made in natural, earthy colours and produced by workers receiving a fair wage, making them one of the best minimalist clothing brands. I have the Neen top and absolutely love the simplicity of it. They also offer handcrafted homeware in eco and sustainable materials.
The White Company
Established over 25 years ago, The White Company believe in stylish yet straightforward timeless pieces. They produce quality over quantity and are not interested in fast fashion. Most of their collection is in white so perfect for any minimalists out there. They also have a decent organic cotton range. If you are looking for timeless minimalistic clothing, you can not go wrong with The White Company. If you are looking for minimalist clothing brands, check out their sleepwear range.
Boody
Boody is an Australian brand that completely changed the way I look at underwear! They argue that every brand should not just have an eco category but that that should be the ONLY category. Their clothing ranges from underwear, through loungewear and onto T-shirts with several other variations on the way. Recently, I was looking to replace my underwear with a simpler, comfortable and more sustainable brand and Boody ticks those boxes and some! The range I purchased is made from organic bamboo, and I have never worn anything so comfortable and soft!! They are a bit of an investment, but trust me when I say you will have no regrets; they are one of the best minimalist clothing brands.
People Tree
Every product is made from the highest ethical and environmental standards since the company was founded in 1991. They are certified by the Soil Association and The World Fair Trade Organisation. People Tree produce simple, stylish, functional quality pieces in predominately block colours. When it comes to minimalist clothing brands, I particularly like their jeans range.
