Personal Stylist of the Year :
Independent, No In-Store Commission

Why this is different

Most personal shopping focuses on what’s available in store that day. My approach starts with your real wardrobe and your real life, then we shop with a plan.
  • Independent advice: no commission, no pressure, no pushing trends
  • Wardrobe-first strategy: we shop to fill the gaps and multiply outfits
  • Private styling rooms when possible: a calmer, more luxurious experience
  • Harvey Nichols Stylist Club access: private rooms and a smoother appointment flow
  • Confidence-led styling: you’ll understand why things work, not just what to buy

Who this is for

This is ideal if you:
  • want to look modern and like yourself again but don’t have time to figure it out
  • are investing in quality pieces and want to spend wisely
  • need outfits for work, travel, events or a new chapter of life
  • hate shopping or feel overwhelmed in changing rooms
  • want honest guidance on fit, colour, proportion and styling

How it works

1) Pre-shop planning

We start with a short consultation. I’ll get clear on:
  • your lifestyle, budget and what you actually need
  • what you already own and what’s missing
  • colours, shapes and proportions that suit you best

2) A focused shop across the right stores

We shop Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols and other suitable stops depending on your goals. Where possible, I arrange a private room experience so you can try pieces calmly and efficiently.

3) Styling, outfit building and smart decisions in the moment

My job is to make sure you don’t leave with “nice items” that don’t work together. We’ll build outfits as we go and keep everything aligned to your wardrobe plan.
4) After the shop: a follow-up to complete the picture
After your shopping session, we’ll book a short follow-up call to:
  • review what you bought and how it’s working in real life
  • spot any gaps that still need filling
  • discuss any additional pieces you’d like to add
If you’d like a more detailed outfit plan or lookbook with links, that’s available as an optional add-on.

Private styling rooms and Harvey Nichols Stylist Club

As a member of the Harvey Nichols Stylist Club, I can often arrange a more streamlined private-room experience for clients at Harvey Nichols. There’s no extra cost for this, it’s simply part of how I work when it’s available. Benefits can include:
  • private changing rooms with space, calm and great mirrors
  • the ability to pre-pull pieces before you arrive to save time
  • quicker size swaps so we stay focused on styling, not waiting
  • complimentary refreshments during your appointment
  • access to a wide range of brands in one place
  • home delivery for purchases where available
  • in-house alterations where available
In-store services and availability can vary by store and day, but I’ll always aim to make the experience as smooth and luxurious as possible.

What’s included

  • pre-shop consultation and planning
  • a clear shopping strategy based on your wardrobe gaps
  • guided styling advice on fit, colour, proportion and how to wear each piece
  • private room bookings where possible
  • follow-up to discuss outfit combinations
Optional add-ons
  • colour analysis
  • wardrobe edit before we shop (highly recommended for best results)

Investment

Signature Shop (3 hours) – £300
Ideal for a special occasion outfit or a focused wardrobe top-up when you want expert guidance without spending all day shopping. We’ll usually start at 10.30am so we can make the most of a calm morning in store, with private styling rooms arranged where possible.
Full Day Luxury Shop (up to 7 hours) – £700
Best for a seasonal refresh, workwear overhaul, travel wardrobe or a bigger style reset across multiple stores. Up to 7 hours in total including a short break for lunch, with more time for planning, trying on and building complete outfits rather than just buying individual pieces.
Full Experience (wardrobe edit + shopping + outfit plan)
Quoted on request, as it depends on what you need, how much pre-work is required and the level of post-session outfit planning and follow-up you’d like.

Case Studies

Case study 1: From nothing to wear to 12 outfits
A client came to me feeling like they had a wardrobe full of clothes but nothing that worked for real life. We agreed a clear brief: polished, modern outfits that could move between work, weekends and evenings without feeling done up. We shopped with a wardrobe-first plan and chose a small set of versatile pieces in a tight colour palette, plus the right shoes and outerwear to finish each look. The result was 12 complete outfits from a handful of purchases, with everything mixing and matching so getting dressed became quick and effortless.

Case study 2: Luxury investment pieces without regret
A client wanted to invest in higher end pieces but was nervous about spending money on items that would sit in the wardrobe. Before buying anything, we got clear on what they already owned, what gaps were worth investing in and what fabrics and cuts would earn their keep. In store, I helped them avoid beautiful but wrong purchases by checking fit, proportion, comfort and how each item would work with at least three existing pieces at home. They left with a small capsule of investment staples that looked expensive, felt like them and worked across multiple occasions, not just one.

Case study 3: Event outfit sorted in one session
A client had a major event coming up and wanted to look confident, modern and appropriate without the stress of endless trying on. We narrowed the brief quickly, then used a private-room style approach to keep the process calm and efficient. I guided the fit and styling details that make the difference on the day: neckline, sleeve shape, hem length, underwear, shoes and the right finishing accessories. They left with a complete outfit they genuinely loved, plus a clear plan for hair, makeup and outerwear so the whole look felt pulled together, not last minute.
